Jobs are at risk at some Nottinghamshire Wilko stores, it has been revealed.
Not all stores will be affected, according to the retail giant, but the company is exploring ways to "make changes across the business".
The GMB Union has provided a full list of the stores where redundancy consultations are set to take place, Staffordshire Live reports.
Jobs are under threat in stores in Newark, Sutton-in-Ashfield and Mansfield, it has been revealed. Jobs are also at risk at their head office store in Worksop.
It comes after the union revealed Wilko workers would be balloted on strike action next week over controversial plans to cut sick pay.
A Wilko spokesman said: "In a constantly changing retailing market we’re continually looking at ways we can meet the hardware and household needs of families across the UK and we’re making an ongoing series of changes across some/all areas of our business to make shopping with wilko even better.
"As part of this, we’ve started talking to team members in some of our stores about proposed changes. This includes making sure we’ve the right team members in the right places at the right times serving customers when and where they want to shop with us."
