The National Trust is looking for a ranger to look after the stunning nature reserve around Formby's pinewoods.
Offering a full-time contract with an annual salary of £19,928, this role would involve spending your days taking in the sand dunes, beaches and coastal pinewoods in Formby.
Home to red squirrels and stunning coastal walks, the National Trust site brings visitors to the area all year round.
The job involves protecting and caring for the habitats, wildlife, property and machinery in the area.
Responsibilities also include engaging with visitors, making the time to talk to them and helping "create lasting memories" as a member of the ranger team.
An online application says: "Whether you’re maintaining our green spaces to assisting with guided visitor walks, through to delivering a wide range of engaging visitor experiences, no two days will be the same.
"You’ll also share and promote the work that we do here, ensuring special places like these are here to be both protected and enjoyed by everyone for ever. This will see you responding to queries and explaining the value of the work being undertaken."
The position involves working some weekends, bank holidays and evenings, plus being on-call.
