NatCen social researchers are looking to hire people nationwide.
In the job description, it said: "We are looking to recruit field workers to gather data for this critical piece of research to measure the extent of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"You will conduct a short telephone interview with households who have volunteered to help.
"You will then deliver and advise household members on how to self-administer swab tests which will be used to establish infection levels across the UK."
The company said all work is compatible with social distancing guidelines and there's no direct contact with participating households.
Travel expenses are also covered, it added.
Those looking to apply need to be able to work a minimum of six hours per day, for a minimum of three days a week.
Some of this time will include evenings and weekends.
Use of a car is also essential for this role and an applicant must be eligible to work in the UK.
