Joanne McNally's boyfriend 'crashes her car' into local coffee shop

Joanne McNally has had a surprising start to the New Year after her boyfriend 'crashed her car' into a local coffee shop.

The podcast host and comedian took to Instagram to share the alarming anecdote with her followers. The incident occurred yesterday morning after her partner Alan made the simple mistake of leaving the handbrake off.

She told her followers: “2023 has had a pretty spicy start....This morning Alan drove my car into the local coffee shop – my car, not his. He says it was an accident but we’ll never know.”

The collision was recorded on a staff member’s mobile phone. The car is seen directly in the entrance of the coffee shop, causing visible confusion amongst both customers and workers- with one person joking "sorry, this isn't a drive through."

The Killiney native had a hectic 48 hours without the added strain of a car crash, having experienced both the vomiting bug alongside a root canal surgery. To add insult to injury, she was being forced to watch the darts final with her partner, looking less than enthused at the prospect.

However, she quickly uploaded a second video about the car crash to reassure fans that no one had been injured following the mishap. Joanne added: “Imagine if he’d run someone over and I was just posting a video online for the craic! No, thank god, no one was hurt.”

Joanne began dating model Alan earlier this year after the two met on celebrity dating app Raya- which she had comically been banned from using in the past. He is recognisable from his stint as ‘Mr Diet Coke’ in a TV ad released in 2014 and also works as a DJ.
