Joanne McNally leads this week's RTE Late Late Show line-up

This week's RTE Late Late Show is one that comedy fans will want to catch as Joanne McNally leads the line-up.

Joanne will join Ryan Tubridy in studio to talk about the antics that go on during her Prosecco Express show, her podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me which she hosts with Vogue Williams and how she could have become Dr Joanne McNally.

Joanne has just announced her 62nd night at Vicar Street and will speak to Ryan about what ticket holders can expect from the gig.

Ryan will also be joined by Galway man Damian Browne who did the nation proud this week when he became the first man to row from New York to Galway after 112 days at sea.

The 42-year-old previously conquered Everest, and he will speak to Ryan about how he coped with solitude on the Atlantic and how the expedition almost ended in disaster in Galway Bay during the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Additionally, Friday's Late Late Show will feature an interview with Charlie Bird and his wife Claire in their County Wicklow home.

Also joining Ryan is Professor Luke O'Neill who will discuss his love of science, how life has changed over the past two years during the Covid-19 pandemic, and what exactly makes us human.

Viewers of this week's Late Late Show will also see a segment dedicated to the cost of living crisis which will feature expert advice on simple and cheap ways you can keep your house warm this winter as well as big-ticket items that will deliver real savings as prices rise.

Finally, The Coronas perform the lead single from their new album and up-and-coming pop star Flynn makes his Late Late Show debut.

The Late Late Show airs on Friday at 9.35pm on RTE One and the RTE Player.
