Joanna Page has revealed the happy news that she is pregnant, but her baby joy almost never happened.
The Gavin and Stacey star, 44, is expecting her fourth child with her husband of 18-years James Thornton, with whom she already shares three children: Eva, seven, Kit, five, and Noah, four.
Last year she revealed that they were almost headed for a divorce after lockdown killed their sex life.
The actress said spent so much time with their children when schools were closed that they couldn't make time for each other.
Being unable to be have sex took a toll on their romance, with the couple arguing, threatening to split, and giving each other the silent treatment, Joanna revealed.
The Stacey Shipman star explained: "We spent the whole of the first lockdown arguing and threatening to divorce each other.
"Then we went through a month of literally not saying a single word to each other."
By the time the first lockdown ended in July last year, Joanna admitted she felt "numb".
She and James, 45, were cramming in sex sessions before it was time to pick their kids up from school.
Joanna said that she found herself literally surrounded by her kids at all times.
She added to The Sun: "At night-time one wanted to lie on that side holding that boob, the other one wanted to lie on this side holding this boob and then my third little one just wanted to lie down the whole of my body.
"So I was there going, Oh my God, please, I just want a bit of space.'"
When schools reopened, the couple's relationship got back on track – with Joanna saying she learned to "fancy" James once more.
She previously said: "He was doing some weeding, bare-chested and wearing just a pair of tracksuit bottoms and I just looked at him and thought: 'Ohh I haven't fancied him as much as this in ages!'
"So I said: 'Right, get upstairs, we have an hour before I have to get ready to pick up Noah so we're going to have sex!'
"We're practical about it these days, there's little romance.
"And obviously he was straight up the stairs so we managed that fine!"
And it's clear that they managed to rekindle their passion, as Joanna announced she is pregnant with their fourth child.
She shared the news on her Instagram account with a picture of her showing off her bump in a white dress.
Joanna captioned the snap: "Well, this is a surprise!!
"Baby number 4 on the way! It's going to be a busy Christmas!"
