Joanna Lumley poses for pictures as she films new programme in Derry

TV star Joanna Lumley has been spotted in Derry yesterday as she films a new show.

The Absolutely Fabulous actress was spotted in multiple locations around the Maiden City on Friday with a production crew not far behind.

The 74-year-old snapped a picture with Richard Moore as she they filmed for a new programme in the Creggan area of the city.

Mr Moore, from Derry, was blinded at the age of 10 in 1972 after being struck by a rubber bullet.

Writing on Twitter, the Children and Crossfire founder said: "Honoured to be showing my good friend Joanna around Gods country Malin Gardens Creggan where I grew up."
