Joanna from Love Island 2019 shares how she really feels about Michael and Amber

The relationship between Joanna and Amber in the Love Island villa was not always an easy one.

The two women clashed after islander Michael met Joanna in Casa Amor and decided to 'couple up' with her instead of staying with Amber.

The drama reached fever pitch at the end of Sunday's episode (July 14), when contestants were given the option to dump either Joanna or Michael from the villa  - and chose the former.

The bombshell came just moments after Amber had told him she still had feelings for him, Chronicle Live reports.

Now, Joanna has shared how she feels about her love rival and fans of the girls will be glad to know there's no bad blood.

Joanna said "Me and Amber are on very good terms.

Amber and Michael (ITV)

"We both were women about the situation we were in. We were adults about it and I’m happy that she was happy to let her guard down and be good with me.

"She’s a lovely girl, I’m a girls’ girl so we’re all good."

So does she have high hopes her romance with Michael will continue?

She explained: "Me and Michael will have to see how he gets on whilst he is in the villa and when he gets out, so for now there is a pause on us.

"You never know if he’s going to crack on with Amber.

"If they’re meant to be, they will be. If they do get together and are happy, I’ll be happy for them."
