Joachim Andersen makes decision on his Sampdoria future amid links to Tottenham and Arsenal

Joachim Andersen has said that he's ready to leave Sampdoria this summer amid links to Tottenham Hotspur as well as Arsenal.

The central defender was reportedly subject of a bid from the Gunners earlier in the month, although such claims have since been disputed by Gianluca Di Marzio who has revealed Ligue 1 outfit Lyon have made an offer for the 23-year-old.

Then there's reports in Italy claim that the other north London outfit have been offered the defender for £32m.

In addition, AC Milan - who recently appointed Andersen's former manager at Sampdoria manager in Marco Giampaolo as a replacement for Gennaro Gattuso - have also been offered the centre-back.

Andersen did hint at following the Italian to the San Siro and has now confirmed his intention to seek a new challenge this summer.

"There’s a lot of interest and I look at my options," he told Danish publication BT - via Sport Witness.

"I have loved my time in Sampdoria – both the fans, the president, the staff, the players and the city, but it’s time to move on so I can develop even more.

"There are several interested clubs that speak to my agent and I’ll make a decision soon with my family and agent."

Andersen is coming off his first full season as a regular in Serie A, playing 34 times as La Samp claimed a top 10 finish and could be a replacement for Toby Alderweireld at Spurs should the Belgian leave in the window.
