JME and Holy Goof among second round of acts announced for Love Saves The Day 2020

More acts have been announced who will be taking to the stage at the final Love Saves The Day in Eastville Park later in the year.

The much-loved Bristol festival, which will be held on May 23 and 34, will see ground-breaking artists take to the stage for the final time before the event moves to Ashton Court next year.

The first announcement included an array of big names , including Orbital, DJ EZ and Gorgon City set to take the main stage on the Saturday.

Kano, a popular London grime artist is to headline on Sunday. This year, Little Simz who played at the festival in 2019 on the Paradiso stage is now set to take the main stage on the final day of the festival in 2020.

Yesterday (Thursday, March 5), organisers have announced even more acts in anticipation for the festival’s final year. Love Saves The Day tweeted around midday announcing new special guests for a range of their stages.

JME has just been announced to play the festival, a grime artist from Hackney. JME’s album ‘Grime MC’, released in November 2019, was much anticipated by fans after his previous album was realised back in 2015.

The line-up announces that the artist will be performing his new album at the festival. Being the first announcement of the second wave of the line-up, JME retweeted @LSTDBristol in an excited tweet. JME will be performing on the Paradiso stage on the Saturday.

Crowd favourite Holy Goof has also been announced, who last played the festival in 2017, and this year are to do an afternoon set at the Lonely Hearts stage.

DnB group SASASAS have also been announced to play, as well as South London rapper DigDat and drum and bass DJ Turno.

DJ Fracture has announced to be playing back to back with Addison Groove, a local DJ from Bristol.

Amy Becker a London DJ, known for having a residency on BBC 1Xtra is also performing on The Lost Gardens stage. She has recently started her own record label which has been brought to the forefront of the UK club scene.

However, The Lost Gardens stage still appears to have a ‘SPECIAL GUEST TBA’ on the line-up released on Thursday afternoon.
