Big names mean big bucks for big brands and X Factor favourite Marvin Humes is now riding high in the ranks of celebrity models.
The JLS singer turned TV host has landed a £1million job as the face – and body – of clothing store Next.
The High Street chain hopes Marvin, 35, will have as much impact as football legend David Beckham did for Armani.
Goldenballs caused a huge stir by posing in tight undies for the fashion giant in 2007 as part of a deal worth up to £20million.

Marvin, whose ex-Saturdays singer wife Rochelle, 31, is expecting their third child, is seen as a bankable star. Since appearing on 2008’s X Factor with JLS, Marvin has co-presented ITV’s This Morning, BBC’s The Voice UK and hosts a late night show on Capital Radio.
He has previously endorsed names such as Coca-Cola, Disney and Boots.

A source said: “Marvin is extremely likable. He’s handsome, a family man, intelligent, women and men both like him and he has oodles of mass appeal.
“That’s a win-win for any brand who has him on board to represent them.
Next have been keen to work with Marvin and now there’s finally the green light to do so.”
The handsome singer is not the only star to convert fame into fortune.
