A review of the book the Telegraph which discussed the plot of her latest novel has gone viral after it explained the story was centred around the murder of a woman who was thought to be the victim of a 'transvestite serial killer'.

"The meat of the book is the investigation into a cold case: the disappearance of GP Margot Bamborough in 1974, thought to have been a victim of Dennis Creed, a transvestite serial killer.

Another Twitter user, Shahmir Sanni wrote: "This is such an astounding example of how whiteness & capitalism work hand in hand to oppress & marginalise all for the sake of personal gain. I feel sick."
