JK Rowling Not Nearly Done With Milking Harry Potter's Magical Moneymaking Powers

To Florida, where JK Rowling's continued unwillingness to answer the question "how much money is enough?" provides a boon to those who feel the state really lacks for graspingly overhyped theme parks.

As part of the Sunshine State's commitment to turning itself into a living Hieronymus Bosch painting, it is announced that The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will open in Orlando in 2009, when the air will no doubt resonate with the delighted screams of children begging to queue two hours for another ride on the Cruciatus-a-Coaster.

"The plans I've seen look incredibly exciting," Rowling tells reporters. "I don't think fans of the films or books will be disappointed."

"Our primary goal is to make sure this is an authentic extension of Harry Potter's world," added the park's designer, who would no doubt aver that the the primary goal of Disneyworld is to offer an authentic extension of Mickey Mouse's world, and not to relieve tourists of unwanted savings and provide urban mythmakers with kidney-theft stories.
