JK Rowling knows how to keep Harry Potter fans hyper and one way to go about it is to mention the now all grown-up boy wizard's son.
The popular author joined in with the 'back to school' chat on Twitter this morning by announcing that James Sirius Potter was preparing to board the Hogwarts Express at Platform 9 and 3/4 to start his time at the prestigious School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Naturally, Twitter exploded with excitement at this news, because starting a new term is so much better when you can imagine Harry Jr doing it too...right?
I'm in Edinburgh, so could somebody at King's Cross wish James S Potter good luck for me? He's starting at Hogwarts today. #BackToHogwarts

Fans of Rowling's books have been acting as if the boy, named after Harry's dad James and godfather Sirius is a real child, telling him to "enjoy the next seven years of his life".
Others sound like gushing family members, exclaiming "Has it really been 19 years already?" and then of course, the tweets have sparked a flood of photos with the trolley statue at Kings Cross.
@jk_rowling Happy to both wish luck & drive him to school if required - and thank you for inadvertently providing me with my work nickname.

Thanks! Say 'hi' back, but only if it won't interrupt any burgeoning friendships. https://t.co/Al54tGHvWK

Now worried that he'll be irritated by the number of people saying hi. https://t.co/6keaEOsKS0

If you see an excited, confused and mildly-petrified boy with dark hair and glasses at Kings Cross station, you know what to do.
