JJ Watt reportedly has ‘several’ offers from teams with at least one willing to pay big money

JJ Watt might be in the twilight of his career, but that reportedly isn’t scaring any NFL teams away from him.

In fact, it appears to be the complete opposite. Teams want Watt and some are even willing to shell out big money to bring him on board despite him being 31 years old and going into his 10th season as a defensive lineman.

The former Texan has “several” offers on the table to choose from, according to a report from ESPN’s Dianna Russini. And at least one team is offering him “15 -16 million per year.”

That is a lot of money.

Watt certainly isn’t as good as he once was as a pass rusher, but certainly, there’s a spot for him on an NFL team somewhere out there. That much money reportedly being on the table is surprising, though.

Could this be someone from Watt’s camp trying to spruce offers up? We’ll see when the time comes. Regardless, NFL fans have been trying to figure out where he’s headed through his cryptic tweets. But no one seems to have had any luck so far.

One thing seems to be certain, though. There’s definitely still room for JJ Watt on an NFL roster.
