Jindrich Trpisovsky in new Rangers blast as he brands Ibrox experience 'worst thing'

Jindrich Trpisovsky has branded Rangers bad losers and insists what happened in Glasgow was the 'worst experience of his career' - as he continued to defend Ondrej Kudela.

The Slavia Prague boss returned to being critical of the Ibrox club following his side's 4-0 win over Opava on Sunday.

Kudela played 81 minutes before being replaced by Simon Deli and Trpisovsky insists he had to ensure the defender was in the right frame of mind after Thursday night's incident.

Glen Kamara reported racial abuse from the Czech defender before Slavia Prague claimed the Finnish midfielder punched Kudela after the game.

And Trpisovsky repeated those allegations and described the latter incident as the 'worst thing' he's ever seen in football and made a series of comments on Rangers' behaviour.

That included blasting Kemar Roofe for his challenge on Ondrej Kolar and insisting Rangers should follow Leicester's reaction to going out of the Europa League.

Reported by the Daily Record, he said: "What happened in Glasgow was the worst experience of my career. It's incomprehensible to me what happened there.

"I'll tell you what happened. About 50 minutes after the match, we were asked by Rangers manager Steven Gerrard to meet with UEFA.

"When we came to the tunnel for a meeting, not a word was said, Kamara threw his fists at Kudela and then ran away. I was two metres away.

"I thought the meeting would be about the injury to our goalkeeper, but attacking a player 50 minutes after the match? It was the worst thing I have ever seen in football.

"As for the terrible injury suffered to our goalkeeper, Ondrej Kolar - it was a tackle that belonged in martial arts and even there, the fighters are ready for it and aren't facing opponents wearing football boots who run at them at full speed.

"He's very lucky that he's ok and the situation could have been a hundred times worse.

"The better team won. Rangers should look at Leicester City and how they took their elimination. We also won 2-0 there and they shook hands with us. It is said that one must be able to accept defeat and lose. Leicester did it, but it was the exact opposite with Rangers.

"We thought that it would be best for Ondrej to be right back on the field. We had to check his health because he was quite shaken after the attack on him last week. Despite everything that happened to him, you could see how focussed he was.

"He said he was fine to play on Friday and I am just glad he was able to concentrate on the match after what happened."
