The Washington Redskins might have a shocker on their hands in the form of seventh-round pick Jimmy Moreland.
Moreland, who hails from James Madison, put on an absolute show at Redskins OTAs on Wednesday, as the above from Rhiannon Walker of The Athletic illustrates.
Ball skills were always a huge part of Moreland’s game in college, which would explain his program-best 18 interceptions. Six of those went back for touchdowns.
While Moreland picking off a pass from a rookie that might have been a bad throw isn’t something to overreact to, nobody else is walking out of there with three interceptions — and the play isn’t exactly something new from him.
Should this keep up, Moreland might have a serious shot at earning some snaps next to Landon Collins.
