Late Night Show host Jimmy Kimmel joked Donald Trump and Melania are 'closer than ever' because of him, following his public spat with the couple.
Speaking on his show on Wednesday (30 April), Kimmel said: "First couple, Donald and Melania, who lately have seemed closer than ever, and I like to think I played a part in that.
Kimmel was referring to Melania and Donald Trump trying to hold hands as the couple arrived with King Charles and Queen Camilla at the East Room of the White House for a state dinner on Tuesday (28 April).
His comments come after the First Lady demanded Kimmel “be fired” over a “widow” joke he made about the couple.
