Jimmy Graham, Jake Kumerow added to Packers’ first injury report of Week 3

Several new injury situations are worth monitoring as the Green Bay Packers get ready to take on the Denver Broncos at Lambeau Field in Week 3.

Although the Packers held nothing more than a walkthrough practice on Wednesday, the team did estimate tight end Jimmy Graham, receiver Jake Kumerow and defensive lineman Montravius Adams as being unable to participate on the first injury report of Week 3.

Graham has a new groin injury, while Kumerow and Adams are both dealing with shoulder issues.

Coach Matt LaFleur said his team was “banged up” coming out of Sunday’s win over the Minnesota Vikings, which was at least partially why he picked a walkthrough over a full practice Wednesday.

Other additions to the injury report include safety Darnell Savage (shin), outside linebacker Kyler Fackrell (shoulder) and linebacker Blake Martinez (shoulder). All three were listed as limited participants. Defensive lineman Kenny Clark (calf), outside linebacker Za’Darius Smith (ankle), safety Will Redmond (ankle) and defensive lineman Fadol Brown (knee) have new injuries, but all four were listed as full participants.

One potentially important change to the injury report: Linebacker Oren Burks, who has been out for over a month with a partially torn pectoral muscle, was estimated as a limited participant, suggesting he could be nearing a return to practice.

The Packers estimated right tackle Bryan Bulaga and cornerback Tramon Williams would have been given a rest day Wednesday, a practice they’ve done throughout the year.

Injuries to Graham, Kumerow and Adams are worth tracking the rest of the week. All three could be in danger of missing Sunday’s game against the Broncos.
