Thanks to a photo of the San Francisco 49ers quarterback, eagle-eyed reporters and fans picked up on something scrawled on the armband he wears while under center: “Robot mindset.”
As you’re well aware, people consider Brady a robot, so maybe he passed on his circuitry to the QB that might have been his heir apparent had the Pats not traded him to the Niners?
Jimmy G didn’t quite say that. When asked about the wristband, he had this to say to reporters: “Beep boop.”
Okay, seriously, this is what he actually said:
“It’s just kind of a thing I keep in my head, just to stay locked in. You don’t want to be distracted by the fans or the music or anything like that. As a quarterback, that’s what you have to do, you have to have a robot mindset. … It’s just a little reminder for me to look down every once in a while and read that.”
