Jimmy Fallon's daughter gatecrashed her father's video interview with Jon Hamm

Jimmy Fallon’s daughter hilariously gatecrashed her father’s interview with Jon Hamm.

The Mad Men actor played along as Fallon’s daughter Winnie, 6, appeared on screen midway through their chat as part of a lockdown episode of The Tonight Show.

“Special guest star!” Hamm shouted as Winnie entered the room to ask Fallon where her mother was.

Instead of leaving, she sat on her father’s lap and started to point out specific animals in a farmyard colouring book she owns.

Hamm, teasing Winnie, kept jokingly misidentifying animals, saying “that’s a really pretty cow” when Winnie pointed out a picture of a pig.

“No, it’s a pig,” she bluntly replied as Fallon and Hamm chuckled along.

Chat show hosts are having to deal with unpredictable turn of events such as this since adapting to present their shows from home due to the global pandemic.

Jimmy Kimmel used the situation to his advantage and surprised his three-year-old with a birthday surprise from Tom Holland in character as Peter Parker.

Hamm was promoting Netflix’s new interactive episode of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which is released on 12 May, and also spoke about his work with St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
