The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon has paid homage to Marvel’s WandaVision.

On Wednesday night’s (3 March) episode of the talk show, Fallon teamed up with Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Scarlet Witch in the hit series, for a five-minute sketch.

In the clip, titled “FallonVision”, the television host is seen hopping through different eras of The Tonight Show with Olsen along for the ride.

The Tonight Show took inspiration from talk shows throughout history including Tom Snyder, Dick Cavett, Johnny Carson, David Letterman and Jay Leno.

Similar to the Disney Plus series, in which Olsen’s character creates an alternate reality that resembles different sitcoms in order to repress her trauma, it becomes clear that Fallon is using the time-travelling adventure to escape the present reality in 2021.

A final twist and the introduction of a surprise guest at the end of the sketch suggests that anotherWandaVision character may be responsible for the mess.

WandaVision concludes on Friday 5 March on Disney+.
