NBA All-Star weekend was an especially eventful time for Steph Curry. The two-time MVP returned to his hometown and got to compete against his brother in the three-point contest, wear a cool jacket and throw unreal bouncing alley-oops to Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Fun was had by all.
Yet, anyone who caught Curry’s media sessions leading up to the game probably noticed some weird antics from Curry. He was a big fan of the Energizer bunny and shouted “wham bam can of ham” more than once. It was thoroughly confusing (and goofy). It was also a prank orchestrated by Jimmy Fallon.
Fallon revealed on The Tonight Show that he challenged Curry to drop Energizer bunny, flipping pancakes and “wham bam can of ham” into his All-Star interviews. And you better believe Curry found a way.
That explains a lot.
The best part was that Curry didn’t just settle for one mention of each phrase. He repeated them in multiple interviews.
We can never look at Steph Curry interviews the same after this.
