Jan. 20--The hits keep coming Jimmy Butler in January. Now he can boast a top 10-selling jersey for the first time in his career, according to sales figures released by NBAStore.com on Wednesday.
The league tracked the top 15 jerseys sold between October and December, and Stephen Curry's No. 30 was the most popular, followed by LeBron James' No. 23, but Butler's No. 21 was a surprise debut at 10.
Derrick Rose's No. 1 fell slightly to sixth place from its 18-month high in June at third. Rose's lowest position since 2009 was 12th, which happened in June 2014.
Butler's jersey news is just the latest rung in this month's star climb, which includes a 53-point performance against the 76ers, a 40-point second half against the Raptors (breaking Michael Jordan's 26-year-old record), celebrities such as Mark Wahlberg and Ludacris boosting his bid to be an All-Star starter, and his selection as a finalist for the U.S. Olympics basketball team.
