Rangers insist long-serving kitman Jimmy Bell is there to stay despite Jim McAllister joining the Ibrox side.
It was reported on Friday the former Morton star was now part of the behind the scenes set-up at the club.
Rangers fans feared the legendary bus driver turned kitman could be on the way out but the club have moved quickly to allay fears.
The club simply said: "Jimmy Bell - Still going strong and going nowhere."
Bell is revered at Ibrox and has been a constant presence over the past 30 years, gaining a cult status among the club's supporters.
Former star and boyhood fan Andy Halliday has shared a host of stories about a man whose legend grows with each passing season.
Former players and current stars regard him as a vital member of the squad and he was front and centre of their Premiership title celebrations last weekend.
Steven Gerrard previously joked Bell is "the boss" when it came to selecting what kits the team would wear for games.
