Jim Schwartz on the different ways he’ll utilize Johnathan Cyprien

The Philadelphia Eagles signed Johnathan Cyprien with the idea that they could take advantage of his size at safety and possibly play him at linebacker as well. Before the Eagles, open training camp practice, defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz addressed the media and revealed the plan for Cyprien.

The versatile defensive back will see playing time at a multitude of positions according to Schwartz.

Cyprien is returning to the field for the first time in almost two years. He only played 10 games for the Titans in 2017 before he was released. Last season he suffered a torn ACL that cost him an entire season. Cyprien can play strong safety and linebacker, which should bold well for the Eagles.
