Jilly Isabella defends 'Crocs with socks' to Kaye Adams after sparking fashion debate

Jilly Isabella is a Glaswegian fashion icon, but recently sparked debate after being pictured wearing Crocs in one of her Instagram posts.

The former Rangers WAG got so many people talking that she appeared on BBC Scotland radio with Loose Women panelist Kaye Adams to chat about the controversial footwear.

Crocs are extremely comfy rubber clogs, although they're not considered a runway essential.

When Kaye asked the 26-year-old how she styles hers, Jilly said: "Not going to lie Kaye it was a bit of a challenge when I first got them.

"I put a poll on my Instagram when I was trying to decide whether I was going to get them or not and the majority said no, so I was like challenge accepted - I'm getting them now and I'm going to prove you wrong!

She added: "I've mainly been wearing them with joggers, I wore them with jeans, some cycling shorts very much athleisure vibes!"

And Kaye jumped in: "Just tell me no socks, Jilly!"

Jilly said: "Socks absolutely! Listen Kaye, You can do whatever you want!

Disappointed by her admission, Kaye shouted: "Oh socks and crocs!?!"

Jilly laughed: "Don't mock the sock and croc!"

On the Instagram post where Jilly's Crocs made their debut, many commented saying they looked amazing.

One wrote: "Gorge! Living in my Crocs!"

While one added: "Croc gang!"

Another wrote: "Omg I am defo buying a pair!"

While one said: "Only person I know to make Crocs look hot!"

Jilly, who has been dating Hearts footballer Andy Halliday for six years, really is a trend setter, but will this one catch on?
