Jill Scott's modest home, I'm a Celeb 'rift' and love life as she's set to play in Bristol

I'm A Celebrity winner Jill Scott is coming to Bristol later this year to play during a special match at Bristol Rovers.

The Lioness stole the hearts of the nation when she was part of the first winning side to ever win the Euros last summer. Just a few months after this impressive feat, she then trekked out to Australia where she was crowned queen of the jungle during her stint on I'm a Celeb.

Now, the football star is heading to Bristol to play at the Memorial Stadium as a part of a "celebration of football" event to raise awareness of motor neurone disease (MND).

Ahead of her arrival in our city, we take a look at her modest home, approaching wedding and I'm a Celeb rumoured rift with a fellow campmate.

Jill Scott's modest home and coffee shop

She shares a gorgeous home with her fiancée Shelly Unitt in Manchester. Photographs from Instagram show the couple have opted for a white and grey colour theme throughout the house, which is reflected in their two large sofas and thick carpet in the living room.

The MBE winner also works in a coffee shop that she owns with her partner Shelly. It's called Boxx2Boxx after Manchester City player Jill’s position on the pitch as a box-to-box midfielder. It is located at 375 Palatine Road in Northenden.

I'm a Celebrity rift

After returning from the jungle, the Lioness appeared on Loose Women and was asked by panellist Janet Street-Porter about her relationship with the Matt Hancock after they returned from Australia.

Jill said: “I haven’t had a message off him yet.”

Since their exit from the show, there have also been rumours he was removed from the I'm a Celeb Whatsapp group.

Love life and approaching marriage

Jill is now engaged to Shelly Unitt. The 37-year-old is the younger sister of former England footballer Rachel Unitt, so it’s thought that Jill and Shelly met through the sport. They were together for six years before the happy couple announced their engagement in March 2020.

Since then, they made the brave decision to become business partners and opened a coffee shop together in April 2021. Jill regularly shares snaps alongside Shelly and the pair recently attended a glittery awards night together.

Jill coming to Bristol

Jill will play at the Pirate's ground this May. She will be joined alongside Manchester United icons Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes, with former Rovers managers Darrell Clarke and Paul Tisdale in charge of the teams.

Marcus Stewart has urged fans from Bristol and beyond to come along to the event. The Bristol Rovers legend was diagnosed with MND 12 months ago. MND is a rare condition that affects the brain and nerves which significantly shortens life expectancy.

There is no cure for the disease, but Stewart and his wife Louise want to do all they can to raise money for the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation and the Motor Neurone Disease Association to benefit future sufferers and support efforts to find drugs that can cure or significantly delay the symptoms.

The fundraising effort, spearheaded by Lousie with support from local businesses, has raised more than £90,000 since launching four months ago, and that number will soar when a South West Legends XI face an All-Star XI at the Memorial Stadium on May 13.

Tickets, priced £10-15, will be available on the Bristol Rovers website in the coming days.
