A Tory activist suspended from the party for Islamaphobia has promoted anti-Semitic posts suggesting Jews are behind “bestiality brothels”.
Lorraine Cullen, who generated vile Islamophobic social media posts, campaigned beside Moray MP Douglas Ross and nominated failed Tory candidate Fiona Fawcett to represent Inverness in Westminster.
And now we can reveal she also posted a link to a neo-Nazi site and a description referring to the “Jew World Order”, a label associated with the anti-Semitic conspiracy theory that Jewish people want world domination.
The post shows a dog bound and muzzled under the title: “This is What You Defeated Hitler for:
Bestiality Brothels are Spreading through Germany”. Beside it is a description blaming Jews, although there is no mention of them in the article.
It reads: “Bestiality brothels are spreading faster than ever thanks to the Jew World Order that makes sex with animals legal.”
There is nothing in the Jewish faith that would tolerate the perversion and there is no evidence such brothels exist.
Cullen was on a dossier of alleged Islamophobic Tory activists and members, compiled by campaign group Hope Not Hate and handed to Conservative Party HQ. Fawcett and Ross refused to comment on Cullen but a Tory spokesman said she had been suspended and would go through a disciplinary process.
Cullen, 47, from Inverness, also suggested religious leaders such as imams teach Muslim men how to have sex with babies.
But she said: “I can assure you I am not racist.”
Hope Not Hate campaigns director Matthew McGregor said: “Serious questions have to be asked about why someone who both held extreme and prejudiced views and disseminated them on social media was allowed to not only join the Conservatives but also play a prominent role in her local party, including campaigning for an MP and signing the nomination papers of another candidate.”
