A full moon resembles a shining pearl atop Mt. Fuji on Monday morning in Gotenba, Shizuoka Prefecture. The phenomenon, known as "Pearl Fuji," can be seen when the moon sets behind the summit of the mountain, emitting a soft light as if it is shining off a pearl.
