Jets will pick 3rd in finalized 2019 NFL draft order

With the Patriots winning the Super Bowl on Sunday night, they officially locked up the No. 32 overall pick and finalized the first round of the 2019 NFL draft.

It’s the time of the offseason to closely follow mock drafts. The scouting combine will be starting at the end of this month and it will create a more clear picture of what teams are planning to do with their picks.

We’ve known for some time that the Jets will be picking third overall. They will need to carefully make this selection if they plan on getting anywhere closer to dethroning New England, but if the draft order is any indication, the Jets have a lot of work to do.

Players like Alabama’s Quinnen Williams and Kentucky’s Josh Allen will be intriguing options for the Jets at No. 3.

New York could also look to move back as quarterback-needy teams like the Broncos or Jaguars may fall in love with a passer and look to leapfrog a couple of teams.
