Jets vs. Giants inactives: Le’Veon Bell, Chris Herndon good to go in Week 10

The Jets will have two of their key offensive pieces against the Giants in Week 10, as both Le’Veon Bell and Chris Herndon are good to go after being listed as questionable throughout the week.

Bell dealt with a sore knee and ankle in the days leading up to the game and was limited in practice on Friday, but is healthy enough to take the field against the Giants. Herndon, meanwhile, makes his season debut after missing New York’s first eight games due to a suspension and hamstring injury he suffered in practice upon activation.

Brian Winters (shoulder/knee), Demaryius Thomas (hamstring), Steve McLendon (neck), Jordan Jenkins (calf) and Kelvin Beachum (ankle) are also all active after being listed as questionable. Darryl Roberts (calf), Ryan Kalil (knee) and Neville Hewitt (neck/knee) will not suit up for the Jets.

Roberts is missing his first game of the season, while Kalil is out after suiting up against the Dolphins last week. Hewitt has not played since Week 6.

As for the Giants, they will be without key offensive weapons Evan Engram (foot sprain) and Sterling Shepard (concussion). Engram led New York in targets against the Cowboys in Week 9, hauling in 11 passes for 114 yards and a touchdown. Shepard is missing his fifth consecutive game and sixth of the season as he remains in concussion protocol with his second concussion suffered in four games. Starting center Jon Halapio (hamstring) will also miss Sunday’s game.
