Jets vs. Giants: Game info, where to watch, notes

The New York Jets will try to bounce back from their loss to the Dolphins last week when they take on the Giants Sunday.

We are in the dark ages of New York football, as both teams sit at the bottom of the league. It’s been eight years since the Jets made the playoffs and two years since the Giants were in the postseason. Both teams are in rebuild mode and it doesn’t seem to be getting better for either.

The Jets defense is going to be tested in this one, as they are at the bottom of their depth chart at inside linebacker and cornerback. New York has lost basically all its inside linebackers that were on the initial roster and they’ve lost their top two cornerbacks in Darryl Roberts and Trumaine Johnson due to injury.

If the Jets are going to get a win, they’re going to need to kickstart this offense. The last three weeks the Jets offense has put up a total of 33 points. That’s not going to get it done in the NFL. Sam Darnold has to snap out of his funk, while the offensive line has to protect him.

As for the Giants, they are currently riding a five-game losing streak and are 2-7 on the year. They will be without two key offensive weapons in Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram.
