Jets to sign former Cardinals DT Leki Fotu

The Jets continue to add new veteran pieces along the defensive line as they have reportedly reached an agreement with former Cardinals defensive tackle Leki Fotu.

Fotu played in 11 games in 2023, including nine starts, for Arizona. He posted 28 tackles with 2.5 sacks and five tackles for a loss. In four seasons in Arizona, Fotu has 89 tackles, 3.5 sacks and 12 tackles for a loss.

The 25-year-old Fotu was drafted by the Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2020 draft, No. 114 overall.

Fotu is the second defensive tackle the Jets reportedly have reached agreement with during the legal tampering period before free agency officially begins Wednesday. The Jets are also reportedly signing former 49ers defensive tackle and first-round pick Javon Kinlaw.
