The Jets are signing veteran running back Ty Montgomery to a one-year deal, according to a source.
Montgomery, 26, played three seasons with the Packers as a running back and wide receiver before he was traded mid-season to the Ravens last year.
Montgomery, who has 932 rushing yards, 892 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in 42 career regular-season games, will provide veteran depth behind Le'Veon Bell. The Jets also have Eli McGuire and Trenton Cannon in the backfield.
Montgomery has kick returning experience as well.
