Jets sign former Vikings TE Temuchin Hodges

On Wednesday, the Jets announced they have signed tight end Temuchin Hodges.

Formerly Bucky Hodges, which is probably how you remember him.

Hodges was a sixth-round pick by the Vikings out of Virginia Tech in 2017, but has yet to play a game in the NFL after spending time with the Vikings (released on Sept. 13, 2017), Panthers (released on Oct. 31, 2017), Jets (released on July 30, 2018) and Steelers (released on Apr. 25, 2019).

This will mark his second stint with the Jets.

Hodges, 23, is still young. But sooner rather than later, he’d probably like to land on a team’s 53-man roster rather than bouncing around from practice squad to practice squad.

Maybe that’ll happen with the Jets.
