Jets sign former Eagles’ RB Josh Adams to the practice squad

Joe Douglas was able to land a player from the Eagles pipeline, as the New York Jets have signed running back Josh Adams to the practice.

Former #Eagles RB Josh Adams headed to the #Jets as a member of their practice squad, as @FieldYates said. He started last season on Philly’s practice squad and wound up leading the team in rushing.

Adams was the Eagles leading rusher last season and Douglas has familiarity with the former Notre Dame running back since he was mostly responsible for getting him on the Eagles roster. Behind Le’Veon Bell, Adams could eventually see time on the Jets 53 man roster this season.
