Jets rookie Quinnen Williams has funny line about playing as himself in ‘Madden’

Bless you, Quinnen Williams.

The rookie delivered yet another accidentally hilarious one-liner on Saturday. This time, it was about playing as his likeness in “Madden,” though the way he phrased things could have been better.

When asked about his Madden rating, Williams was quick to brag about his 80 overall rating – the highest among 2019 rookies. What followed, though, was hysterical.

“I’m going to go play with myself today, see how I feel,” Williams said before quickly adding, “That came out weird. I’m going to play with myself in Madden! I’m going to play with myself in Madden!”

The rookie never disappoints, and this time he had an audience of reporters to laugh with him for his most recent joke.

This is just another instance of Williams’ unintentionally funny moments. After the Jets took him third overall in the draft in April, Williams sneezed, blessed himself and thanked himself, all on camera, much to the enjoyment of every football fan on the internet.

At only 21 years old, Williams is making an early claim as one of the most quotable Jets. He hasn’t even played a snap yet but is already known for his joyful personality.

With that being said, Williams has also shown us why he can be a terror on the defensive line with his hard-hitting tackling.

With his sense of humor and tenacity on defense, Williams already looks like a fan favorite before he has even played an official snap.
