Jets return home as underdogs in Week 6 vs. Cowboys

It will have been almost a month since the Jets took their home turf at MetLife Stadium. Set to do so this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, oddsmakers don’t have too much faith in the home team.

New York, at 0-4, is being pegged as a -8.5-point underdog, according to BetMGM. The 3-2 Dallas Cowboys are coming off two-straight losses but remain competitive each week.

Gang Green sits at -110 against the spread, possesses a money line of +333, and shares -110 in the over-under with their opposition. The total points for Sunday’s contest are set at 43.5 points.

Dallas, at 8.5-point favorites, shares equal betting odds in the spread and over-under as the Jets. However, Dallas’ money line is much steeper at -455.

The Cowboys will be traveling to MetLife Stadium for a 4:25 p.m. game on Sunday, Oct. 13. While the Jets will look to gain some traction on familiar soil, the odds aren’t exactly stacked in their favor.
