Jets request to interview Eagles Joe Douglas for GM position

What was once a formality and a rumor is now true, as the New York Jets have reportedly reached out to the Philadelphia Eagles for permission to interview Joe Douglas.

Because of his relationship with Jets head coach Adam Gase, Douglas has been viewed as the Jets’ favorite, but it remains to be seen if the Eagles personnel guru would be willing to leave one of the best front offices in the NFL. Douglas and Gase worked together when the Jets head coach was an offensive coordinator with the Chicago Bears in 2015.
