The Jets have brought back safety Santos Ramirez.
The team announced Monday that it had re-signed Ramirez and waived cornerback Dee Delaney. Ramirez was waived by the team less than a week ago to make room for LB Stephone Anthony.
Ramirez was originally signed by the Jets as an undrafted free agent this offseason out of Arkansas. In four seasons with the Razorbacks, Ramirez had 214 tackles, three interceptions and four forced fumbles. The safety played in the first two preseason games before being waived and recorded six total tackles.
Delaney joined the Jets in July after spending the 2018 season with both the Jaguars and Dolphins. In three preseason games with the Jets, Delaney had a combined seven tackles.
