Jets RB Le’Veon Bell has no structural damage, won’t practice Wednesday

After an initial scare with Le’Veon Bell undergoing an MRI, it turns out there is nothing seriously wrong with the running back.

Adam Gase spoke to the media ahead of Wednesday’s practice and said that Bell has no structural damage in his knee. However, Bell will not practice on Wednesday in order to give him some extra rest. He took a hit late in Sunday’s game against the Dolphins and is sore. Gase is hopeful he will play on Sunday against the Giants.

As for Chris Herndon, the tight end could be on his way back from a hamstring injury. Gase said that Herndon is expected to practice fully Wednesday after going through pregame warmups on Sunday.

Kelvin Beachum (ankle) will be limited.
