Jets RB Le’Veon Bell apologizes to fantasy owners for missing last season

After sitting out all of last season, Le’Veon Bell showed some sympathy toward some of his fans on Monday.

Bell stayed silent all season long last year after not reporting to the Steelers. He felt that he was not getting the money that he deserved and sat out the entire year. But now that Bell is back and with the Jets, he feels like he owes something to the people he let down. Particularly, fantasy football owners.

Bell stated in a tweet that he was sorry to the fantasy owners who picked him last season after not knowing if he was going to play. He then assured his fantasy owners this season that he is going to come through for all of them in a big way.

If Bell is anything like he was two years ago, then that’s good news for the Jets and Bell’s fantasy owners. In 2017, Bell rushed for 1,291 yards and nine touchdowns. He also added 655 yards as a receiver and two touchdowns.

With Bell back on the field, he could easily be a first-round pick in fantasy drafts this season. The hope in New York is that Bell can stick to his words and have a monster year for Gang Green, too.
