Jets put receivers Quincy Enunwa, Josh Bellamy on season-ending PUP list

NEW YORK _ The Jets made a pair of predictable procedural moves by placing injured wide receivers Quincy Enunwa and Josh Bellamy on the reserve/physically unable to perform list Tuesday. Enunwa, who missed two of the past three seasons with a serious neck issue, pocketed $6 million this offseason. He also has a $4.1 million injury guarantee in 2021 as part of his four-year, $36 million contract.

The 27-year-old Enunwa, who has 119 career receptions, isn't expected to play for the Jets again. His football future remains very much in doubt.

Meanwhile, Bellamy, who missed the final nine games after suffering a season-ending shoulder injury, was scheduled to make $2.25 million in the final year of his deal. Up to $1.2 million of that money will count against the Jets' salary cap if he isn't picked up by another team (and he files injury protection).

Defensive end Charles Tapper, cornerback Kyron Brown, running back Jalin Moore and wide receiver Keon Hatcher were waived.
