Jets OLB Jachai Polite eager to sack Tom Brady

Jachai Polite has always been driven to sack one quarterback in the NFL.

Selected by the New York Jets with the 68th pick in the 2019 NFL draft, the former Gator is a true edge rusher that has one goal in mind: sacking the quarterback. But Polite has had his eyes set on Patriots gunslinger Tom Brady for quite some time.

Polite tweeted back in 2017 that he is motivated to sack Brady. He was just a sophomore in college at that time and already had these thoughts. Talk about a kid who is determined to take down possibly the greatest quarterback of all-time.

The 21-year-old pass rusher shouldn’t have an issue getting to the quarterback. In three seasons at the University of Florida, Polite recorded 15 sacks with 11 of them coming last season. He also has an knack for finding the football. Polite had six forced fumbles last season and had eight total forced fumbles in his college career.

With Polite being drafted by the Jets, he gets the opportunity to see Brady and the Pats twice a year. The Jets and Patriots first meet in Week 3 of the 2019 season in Foxborough, so Polite will get his first shot then.
