Jets injury report: Luke Falk cleared of concussion; Robby Anderson getting X-rays

Not only did the Jets get pounded by the Eagles 31-6 in Week 5, but a couple of New York’s key offensive contributors suffered injuries that knocked them out of the game.

Quarterback Luke Falk departed late in the game to undergo testing for a concussion, while wide receiver Robby Anderson left with an undisclosed injury in the second half and never returned.

According to coach Adam Gase, Falk passed the concussion protocol with flying colors and is good to go. Anderson, however, is getting X-rays.

Falk took a beating on Sunday, as he was sacked 10 times and was under constant pressure throughout the afternoon. Anderson, meanwhile, caught one of his three targets for 16 yards before leaving the game.

With Falk passing the concussion protocol, he will be ready to go for the beginning of practice next week. It remains to be seen whether he will be preparing as New York’s starter or if Sam Darnold will be back and ready to go, but Falk will be able to suit up nonetheless.
