Jets injury report: Henry Anderson, C.J. Mosley among 4 doubtful vs. Cowboys

The Jets’ injury barrage continues.

With Chris Herndon already ruled out with a hamstring injury for Week 6, the Jets will be down at least five starters when they take the field on Sunday.

DL Henry Anderson (shoulder), OL Kelechi Osemele (shoulder/knee/illness), RB Trenton Cannon (foot/ankle) and LB C.J. Mosley (groin) are all listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys.

Anderson left the Jets’ 31-6 loss to the Eagles last Sunday with a sprained AC joint. He is considered to be week-to-week, as it is a pain tolerance issue.

Osemele is considerably banged up and could be out for a while with multiple injuries. Alex Lewis did a fine job filling in for him in Week 5, though.

Cannon reaggravated a lower-leg injury this past Sunday, which means RB Ty Montgomery will return kicks against the Cowboys.

Finally, Mosley is still dealing with an aching groin problem. The Jets are afraid there’s a high chance he may tweak his groin and want to wait until he is 100 percent ready to play.

In other injury news, New York listed CB Nate Hairston, WR Josh Bellamy, WR Demaryius Thomas and LB Jordan Jenkins all as questionable.

For the first time since Week 1, QB Sam Darnold is off the injury report and has been cleared to start against the Cowboys.

For Dallas, starting tackles La’el Collins and Tyron Smith are both listed as questionable, as neither practiced on Friday.
