Jets injury report: Elijah Moore day-to-day, Tevin Coleman in concussion protocol

A lot of Jets are on the mend as New York heads into Week 14.

WR Elijah Moore is “day-to-day” with a quad injury, per Robert Saleh. He was limited in practice Wednesday, but Saleh remains hopeful Moore will be available for the game against the Saints.

“We’ll know more as the week goes on,” Saleh said. “We’re still hopeful he’ll be able to make it Sunday.”

Other injured Jets who didn’t practice Wednesday include RB Tevin Coleman (concussion protocol), CB Michael Carter II (concussion protocol), OT Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (ankle), TE Ryan Griffin (ankle), TE/FB Trevon Wesco (ankle) and DL Sheldon Rankins (knee). Duvernay-Tardif, Griffin, Wesco and Rankins are all considered day-to-day, per Saleh.

While that’s a big list, a few previously-injured Jets are starting to get healthy.

WR Keelan Cole is off the reserve/COVID-19 list and practicing after missing Week 13. The Jets also designated CB Brandin Echols (quad) to return to practice after the team placed him on injured reserve following the Week 11 loss to the Bills. DE Bryce Huff (back) is expected to return “next week,” per Saleh, after missing the past seven games. QB Mike White (COVID-19) is still unable to return after testing positive for the virus on Nov. 23.

OT Mekhi Becton (dislocated kneecap) did some light stretches on Wednesday. Saleh said Becton hasn’t suffered a setback despite being out for the past 12 weeks. Saleh is also hopeful Becton will return at some point before the end of the season.
