Jets injury report: C.J. Mosley to participate in individual drills

Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley is taking the first step in getting back onto the field.

Adam Gase said Thursday that Mosley will participate in individual drills. Gase hopes he can perform well in those drills and then move on to team drills Friday. Mosley hasn’t played since Week 1 after suffering a groin injury that has kept him out longer than expected.

As for Kelvin Beachum and Chris Herndon, they will not be practicing on Thursday and instead will continue rehabbing. Beachum sprained his ankle last week against the Cowboys, while Herndon pulled his hamstring practicing routes on his own.

Nate Hairston (knee) and Henry Anderson (shoulder) will work with the strength and conditioning team Thursday. Gase hopes that both can practice on Friday.
