Jets’ Infectious Disease Emergency Response Plan approved by NFLPA

The Jets’ Infectious Disease Emergency Response (IDER) Plan has been approved by the NFL Players Association.

New York is now among 20 teams that have had their IDER plans approved by the NFLPA. Last Wednesday, the NFLPA approved protocols for the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic presented by eight NFL teams, including the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins. The New York Giants had their IDER plan approved on Friday night.

With the Jets’ IDER plan approved and the NFL and NFLPA coming to an agreement on modifications to the CBA on Friday, it is now full steam ahead for Gang Green with training camp set to begin.

Rookies, quarterbacks and rehabbing players reported to One Jets Drive last week, while the rest of the team is scheduled to report on Tuesday. Adam Gase has been back in the building for two weeks. The rest of New York’s coaching staff is set to report on Tuesday and Wednesday.
